Boats and Motors

The dock is manned from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and then again from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Should you need any bait or assistance at the dock between these hours, please ask in the reception area. Two semi-remote lakes are available to you at a shuttle cost of $30.00 per person, if you have a four wheel drive you are welcome to take your own in.

Fishing maps are available, for most lakes, in the reception area.

A peddle boat, canoes and kayak are available to you at no extra cost. Please ensure that you wear the appropriate life saving vest while using the water craft.

Fly-in fishing day flights to float plan accessible only lakes can be booked in the reception area of the lodge, we prefer to fly on Tuesday and Thursday, but can make other arrangements. Please book the day before.

Standard Boats

Standard boats and motors are included in all inclusive fishing trip rate packages, two persons per boat. Upgraded Boats - A limited number of upgraded boast are available. These boats feature 25 hp motors with electric start, electric trolling motor, fish finder, live well with water exchange and running lights. More information below.

Upgrade Boat Option

We have four 16' models that seat 3, as well as one 18' pontoon boat that seats 5.
  • 16' fishing boats: These boats come with a 25hp four stroke engine equipped with electric start, powered live well, deck mounted fish finder, electric trolling motor with remote foot control and night running lights. These boats are priced at an additional $50.00 per day per boat.
  • If you have any additional questions regarding the upgrade boats, please feel free to drop in to the reception any time during business hours.
  • 16' Upgrade is available at $50 per day·

The 18' pontoon boat that has all the above mentioned accessories. This boat is set up for fishing. With a high back swivel seat at each corner of the boat it makes for very comfortable and easy fishing. The boat has a 9.9 hp four stroke high thrust Yamaha motor complete with electric start. The boat also has a 36 lb. thrust electric trolling motor with remote foot control; deck mounted fish finder and a powered live well. To top it all off, you even have a retractable sunbonnet. The price for the pontoon boat is an additional $50.00 per day.


  • Outboard Motor Prop and Skeg Insurance

    • If you would like to have damage insurance on the propeller and skeg of your rental boat, you may purchase it at the reception desk.
    • Insurance covers the propeller and skeg only.
    • The insurance cost is $25.00 per boat and insurance coverage is for one occurrence only.
    • This insurance does not cover the cost of damage to the leg of the motor, vertical drive shaft and seals or the propeller housing or damage done to the boat. Any damage to the boat due to impact with shoals or any other form of damage will be charged to the client.
