We have snow however, the trails are not open. The ice is still not quite thick enough for snowmobile safety. The Groomer is in the shop being prepared for this coming season. We expect the trails to be open between Christmas and New Year’s. We will keep you posted.

Well, it has been a decent winter season for our snowmobiling business. We have seen many of our return guests along with some new. All has been great. Today is warm and we are sure to see some decrease in the snow. Cold nights will keep it here for awhile yet. Can’t wait for March break and see all sledders enjoy the beautiful trails. See you soon.

The sun decided to brighten our day today. The skies are a beautiful shade of blue without a cloud in them. Woke up to -27 degrees this morning. Have a great day and stay warm. Thinking of staying inside and keeping warm by the fire.

Wow, if this temperature keeps up, the ice will be safe for snowmobiling in no time. It went down to – 23 degrees celcius. Brrrrrrr!!! Thank God for Duvets and Wood Burning Stoves!

Ice fishing at Auld Reekie. During your rest stop on the Top 107c snowmobile trail, at Auld Reekie Lodge, take a few hours to try ice fishing. We can provide you with tackle, bait and a modest ice fishing hut. We can fish for Walleye, N. Pike and Lake Trout.
