Fantastic Riding!
Northern Ontario is the top snowmobiling vacation destination in the world and the Gowganda / Timmins / Temagami / Shinning Tree areas are the best with the best trails and the best snow. Auld Reekie Lodge is located right in the middle of it all.
Prevailing winds going over Lake Huron and Lake Superior picks up moisture and dumps unbelievable amounts of snow over Gowganda. Because of this; snow-machine riders are already using the trails when other areas have no snow yet. There are 1000s of miles of groomed trails with a whole network throughout the area of small villages to service riders and their snow machines in case of an emergency.
Auld Reekie Lodge is located on the A107C trail between Shining Tree and Elk Lake. The A107C is part of the Gold Rush Tour Loop and runs right through our property.
